With purulent discharge (seen right when the technician pierced the skin), it is known that this is an abscess caused by bacteria, not a cyst. No matter how many times it is drained or excised, the patient will not recover completely without the use of antibiotics. PLEASE refer this person to a medical professional so they can be prescribed antibiotics to treat the underlying infection and it doesn’t spread to the bloodstream, possibly causing blood poisoning or sepsis.
